The 4th of July celebrations got kicked off this morning in Fort Pierre with the 4 on the 4th! The cloudy skies gave way to a beautiful morning and a great day for a race. There were at least 100 runners, bikers and walkers in this year’s race, many of whom were decked out in patriotic gear. Jared Lutmer was the first to finish with an impressive time of 21:07, followed closely behind by Caleb Morris (23:10) & Pierce Baumberger (23:35). Jessica Lutmer set a new personal best for the race with a time of 24:48, followed in by Jodie Dugan with a time of 28:14. Jared Lutmer & Caleb Morris greet Pierce Baumberger at the finish.
