HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - A driver is accused of firing shots at a semitrailer over road rage on the interstate near Indianapolis Wednesday, according to Indiana State Police. 22-year-old Gregory Davis, from Indianapolis, was arrested after police discovered what happened. Around 2:15 p.m., someone called 911 to report shots fired at a semi on I-70 near the 101 mile-marker. Two troopers investigated and pulled over the car. They arrested Davis - the only person in the car - and also found a handgun. Investigators believe road rage led to the shooting. It's not clear what fueled the driver's anger, however. Teen flown from scene of Terre Haute fire after hit by fire department truck Detectives at the scene found bullet holes in the passenger side of the semi. The driver wasn't hurt, ISP said. According to ISP, this marks the 40th incident of gunfire on Indianapolis-area interstates so far this year.
