Staff Reports Justin Mills, 43, was arrested by Carson City deputies Tuesday morning following a suspicious vehicle stop conducted by Lyon County deputies. According to the arrest report, Mills was driving through Mound House when Lyon County deputies stopped his vehicle. They made contact with Mills who had an active want for attempted sexual assault: rape, burglary, violation of domestic violence, temporary protective order, kidnapping, and preventing the use of 911, all felony charges. Carson City deputies were called to the scene around 11:47 a.m. and took custody of Mills. Mills was transported to the Carson City Jail without issue. He is being held on over a $100,000 bond. Correction: Carson Now had originally published the wrong age of the suspect, which was taken directly from the report. It has since been corrected. Unfortunately, when making the correction, comments below were inadvertently dropped. All information for the crime log (unless otherwise noted) comes from the arrest reports supplied by the Carson City Sheriff's Office, and is considered by law to be public information. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The policy of Carson Now is to name anyone who is arrested for a felony offense.
