NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a double shooting in the Willow Brooks neighborhood early Thursday, July 4. NOPD officers said at 5 a.m., they were called to the 4900 block of Alcee Fortier Boulevard where a man and a woman were found suffering from gunshot wounds. The NOPD is in the process of gathering evidence and information to determine the possible suspect and motive.
