ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester firefighters rescued a man who was stranded on an embankment along the Genesee River Wednesday. Crews were called to the Seth Green area shortly after 4:00 p.m. for the water rescue. Firefighters said a man was stuck on an embankment, unable to cross the water to safety. The Rochester Fire Department used a water rescue boat to get the stranded person back to shore. No one was hurt.
