FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A Freno County Community Service officer rescued a dozen dogs from the heat at a Fresno park, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office said. While at Kearney Park on Wednesday, Tony Casarez, a Fresno County Community Service officer, found 12 dogs stranded outside. Upon the discovery, he contacted the Central California SPCA and provided the dogs with water until SPCA officials arrived. They were then transported to the SPCA facility. Tony Casarez.
