SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A man has life-threatening injuries after he was shot in San Francisco's Mission District on Wednesday, the San Francisco Police Department said. SFPD originally responded to the 1900 block of Mission Street at 7:53 p.m. for the shooting. Police did not locate a victim, but witnesses pointed them to the area of 19th and Harrison Streets, where they found him. One dead in Berkeley shooting The man was hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds and life-threatening injuries. Officers remained at the scene to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (415) 575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 and begin the message with "SFPD." The shooting was the second tragic incident to happen in the Mission District on Wednesday. A 15-month-old baby was seriously injured after falling out of the window of an apartment building at 2315 Mission St., blocks away from the shooting.
