SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A baby fell out of a window of a building Wednesday afternoon in the Mission District, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. SFFD crews responded to the report of a 15-month-old falling out of the window of an apartment building at 2315 Mission St. The baby fell more than 20 feet from a second-story window, according to SFFD. The baby is currently at SF General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Child Protective Services is investigating the incident.
