We're the fastest growing community in the state of New Mexico and a large part of that is thanks to the big companies that have had a presence here. First was the Walmart distribution center, followed by Meta," said Archuleta.     The company is promising to bring more than 1,000 jobs to the area and will be hiring in increments of 200-250 employees. The Amazon fulfillment center is located west of the Meta Center and the Walmart fulfillment center.  KRQE News 13 spoke to residents who say they're concerned about the impacts of three giant corporations next to each other. "It's exciting for the growth, the only concerns we have is just the traffic that it's going to bring because we already get traffic buildup, horribly," said Jari Reed, Los Lunas resident.        Another resident, who didn’t want to share their name, said she wants to make sure all those jobs do get filled. "We're excited about the hiring but then that's in phases also and so I just feel like I don't know how many people they're actually going to hire right now," said the anonymous resident.  But the senior economic developer for the village of Los Lunas says they're confident they have the manpower and labor market to support Amazon. "As we get more residents more people engaged in our workforce either by moving here or even driving from other communities to work here, we feel confident that we can support Amazon and other businesses who choose to call Los Lunas home," said Archuleta.           Amazon first broke ground in 2021. They say their grand opening is scheduled for mid-August. People interested in applying at Amazon can go to their website.
