WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A motorcycle crash sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries Wednesday night. It happened at the intersection of Warwick Avenue and Edgehill Road. According to police, a car and motorcycle collided. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries. The crash happened during Warwick’s Fourth of July fireworks celebration. Warwick’s Chief of Police told ABC 6 News that anyone leaving the celebration is being diverted to West Shore Road. The chief says The Warwick Police Department traffic reconstruction unit is working to figure out what lead up to the crash.
