Two men and a 16-year-old boy were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of killing and attempting to rob a 25-year-old man in Oak Park earlier this year, according to police. Brayan Morales, 18, Arlene Zaragoza, 19, and a 16-year-old boy were arrested in connection with the March 28 shooting of 25-year-old Andres Dominguez, Lt. Steve Shebloski said in a news release. The incident was reported about 11 p.m. after a vehicle drove into a fence at 60th and Michael streets, Shebloski said. When officers and paramedics arrived, Dominguez was found unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a car, suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. Investigators initially believed the driver had been shot during an argument with two other men in the nearby area. He drove a short distance before crashing, Shebloski said. Detectives later determined that the killing was a failed robbery, he said. Detectives said Morales was arrested by officers earlier this week on Camino Del Rio North near Mission City Parkway. Zaragoza was located roughly two hours later on Home Avenue near Ash Street. The teenager was already in custody at San Diego County Juvenile Hall on unrelated charges. Police did not provide his name because he is a minor.
