FAIRFAX, VA. (DC News Now) -- Fairfax City police said an adult was almost abducted Wednesday afternoon. Officers from the Fairfax City Police Department were in the 10200 block of Main St. to investigate an attempted abduction. The person believed to be responsible for the attempt last was seen on foot near 10200 Main St. in a wooded area, wearing a white, striped shirt. According to police, he and the victim do not know each other. A police helicopter and K-9 units were in the area.
