(KRON) -- "All great things must come to an end." Those were one of the many words uttered by Draymond Green following longtime teammate Klay Thompson's departure from Golden State. The Warriors forward went on an emotional 30-minute monologue Tuesday on his podcast "The Draymond Green Show." The Warriors dynasty as we know it -- comprised of Thompson, Green and Stephen Curry -- is over. The trio, which won four championships in the last decade, will not be suiting up for the Warriors. It's not just Dub Nation who is sad about Thompson's departure. Green admitted that he shed a few tears while expressing sadness that his teammate of 12 years has moved on elsewhere. "Half of the pictures Steph posted bring you to a weird space," Green said on his podcast. "So I dropped a couple of tears throughout the day. "This sucks for me. This time of year always sucks because you build relationships with people, and then out of nowhere, they're just gone." Thompson's departure to the Dallas Mavericks "hits much deeper," according to Green. However, Green did say he is happy for Thompson to see him make a move that's best for him. Thompson, 34, and Green, 34, were drafted by the Warriors and saw each other grow within the organization. Thompson was drafted in 2011 and Green in 2012. Together, along with Curry, they made it to the NBA Finals six times, winning four of them. The full 30-minute clip of Green discussing Thompson's departure can be viewed here.
