(KRON) -- The San Francisco Department of Emergency Management advised the public to avoid the 14th and Roosevelt Way areas near the Buena Vista neighborhood due to police activity. Officials made the announcement at around 11 a.m. on Wednesday. A witness at the scene told KRON4 the incident was sparked by an eviction dispute over a home on Roosevelt. An SPFD officer told KRON4 they were assisting San Francisco Sheriff's Department deputies with an investigation. The sheriff's office is tasked with enforcing court-ordered home evictions. SFDEM did not mention details besides the roads being closed due to police activity. No injuries have been shared as of this report. Citizen video shows several armed police officers on the scene.
