This evening is warm and muggy. There's a chance of a few scattered showers and storms, but most of the area will be dry throughout the evening. Temps started off near 80° and fall into the 70s. We'll stay in the 70s through early morning with our lowest temperatures being in the low 70s. While there is a scattered rain chance at dusk both tonight and tomorrow night, there's a better chance that your area fireworks show will be rain-free. While our fireworks forecast for both tonight and tomorrow highlights the potential for some scattered rain and t-storms at dusk, you should remember that any rain that's around is going to be pretty limited. This will mean that most area fireworks shows will go on without interruption. The best chance of rain over the next couple days will come during the daytime tomorrow. From around noon-5 pm, some periods of rain are possible before tapering down during the evening on July 4th. Scattered afternoon showers or a few thunderstorms are possible through the afternoon on the 4th. The 4th of July will be warm and humid with temperatures in the mid-80s. When the humidity is factored in, it will feel as hot as 90° during the afternoon. Friday's highs reach the mid-80s and an occasional scattered shower or storm is possible. However, most of the day will be dry. Heat index values will be in the upper 80s. The Muggy Meter shows "Tropical" levels of humidity on both July 4th and July 5th. By the weekend, we get some brief relief on Saturday with a nice decrease in humidity. However, we return to sticky conditions on Sunday and Monday. Saturday's highs are in the mid-70s with Sunday's highs in the low 80s. Tomorrow and Friday are the most humid days of the next 5. Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Chance of a scattered shower or storm.
