South Carolina Murder Suspect Arrested In Union County

MONROE, N.C. – A 25-year-old man, wanted for murder out of Chesterfield County, was arrested following a traffic stop in Union County, according to the Monroe Police Department.
On Tuesday afternoon, an officer pulled over a vehicle with an expired license plate on West Roosevelt Boulevard.
Officials said the driver, Jamison Jashawn Chambers, was operating the vehicle while impaired, with a suspended license and with minors inside while carrying a concealed weapon. He was also wanted for murder out of Chesterfield County, the police department said.
Chambers failed to appear in court on charges for murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and armed robbery.
Chambers was arrested and charged with various traffic violations along with the following:
Driving While Impaired
Carrying A Concealed Weapon
Child Abuse
He is being processed into the Union County Detention Center and did not receive a bond.
