Adult rescued from water at Pier 39 in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- One person was rescued from the San Francisco Bay Wednesday morning, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. The rescue came after an initial report of a woman struggling in the water.
Just after 6 a.m., SFFD said units responded to a person in the Bay at Pier 39 “screaming for help as she struggles in the water.” In an update shared at 6:31 a.m., fire officials said one adult was successfully rescued from the water.

SFFD medics assessed the victim at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital for “non-life-threatening issues,” officials said.
