SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- One person was rescued from the San Francisco Bay Wednesday morning, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. The rescue came after an initial report of a woman struggling in the water. Just after 6 a.m., SFFD said units responded to a person in the Bay at Pier 39 “screaming for help as she struggles in the water.” In an update shared at 6:31 a.m., fire officials said one adult was successfully rescued from the water. San Francisco driver to be charged with killing family at West Portal bus stop SFFD medics assessed the victim at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital for “non-life-threatening issues,” officials said.
