INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan police are investigating after a man was found shot near a gas station on the near east side early Wednesday morning. Officers were dispatched at 4:34 a.m. to the 2800 block of East 10th Street, where they located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, he later died from his injuries, according to police. The shooting remains under investigation.
