INDIANAPOLIS – A person ended up in the hospital following a shooting late Tuesday night on the near east side. Indianapolis Metropolitan police officers were dispatched around 11:30 p.m. to the 3700 block of East Market Street, where they found a male victim who’d been shot. The man was taken to an area hospital. Police didn’t disclose the extent of his injuries. The shooting remains under investigation.
