SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Another brush fire broke out in southeastern San Diego County on Tuesday, marking the fifth wildfire to erupt since the beginning of the week. The brush fire, named the Border Fire, erupted near Humphries Road, just south of Potrero, around 2 p.m. As of 3:38 p.m., the fire's forward progress had been stopped, according to Cal Fire. Shortly after 5:30 p.m., Cal Fire said the fire was 23 acres and 50% contained. At least one structure, a home, was threatened by the fire, but no evacuations have been issued at this time.
