Some Murrieta park playgrounds are getting a new look. The city is updating and upgrading equipment at many of its parks during the Tot Lot Project. Alta Murrieta Sports Park, 39775 Alta Murrieta Drive, is one of the first to get the new equipment, others will follow. The changes include many inclusive features, Brian Crawford, senior program manager with the city’s Community Services Department, said via email. There will be a ramp leading into engineered woodchip play surfaces at every location and at Monte Vista, 29551 Andromeda St., there will be an accessible merry-go-round feature.
