BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A body was found in a canal in central Bakersfield Monday. Kern County Fire Department were dispatched to the Calloway Canal, just east of Buck Owens Boulevard around 4:30 p.m. on July 1. Lake Isabella motorcyclist dead after crashing on Highway 178: CHP When KCFD arrived, they located and recovered the body in the canal between Standard and Mohawk streets.
