ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man is expected to survive a shooting that happened on Heidelberg Street late Monday night.
Rochester police said they responded to that area around 11:38 p.m. for a ShotSpotter activation. Officers found the victim, who is in his 30s, with multiple gunshot wounds to his lower body.
The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by AMR and is being treated for his non-life-threatening injuries.
RPD said there were no suspects arrested for the shooting and are asking anyone with information to call 911.
