WEST WINDSOR — There are new discounts available for veterans at Mercer County golf courses, according to Mercer County Executive Dan Benson. Veterans will get 30% off greens fees, and a 10% discount on items at the pro shop. “I am excited to make golf more accessible and affordable for our veterans, as a way to show our continuing gratitude for their service,” said Benson. “Research has shown golf can be a therapeutic outlet for veterans to practice mindfulness while getting physical exercise.” Veterans will only need to show proof of service or a VA identification card to receive discounted rates. Mercer County courses include Mercer Oaks in West Windsor, Mountain View in Ewing, Princeton Country Club in Princeton and Hopewell Valley Country Club in Hopewell Twp.
