ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) –June has arrived and Sarah East from Visit Albuquerque has a list of things happening around the city throughout the month. Freedom 4th July 4, 3-10 p.m. at Balloon Fiesta Park. Guests can enjoy food, drinks, music, activities for the whole family and more. The night is capped off with a fireworks show. New Mexico Tattoo Fiesta July 12 - 14 at Isleta Resort and Casino. Some of the most talented tattoo artists from around the country come together for the Fiesta. Guests can get new tattoos, consult with artists and check out the art. People will also be able to enjoy music, food, drinks and vendors. Mariachi Spectacular de Albuquerque July 13 from 7 - 10 p.m. at Sandia Resort and Casino. World-renowned groups show off a variety of mariachi styles. Passionate performances and a variety of interpretations of classic mariachi songs. Lavender in the Village Festival July 20 at the Larry P. Abraham Agri-Nature Center. Guests can browse through over 100 lavender vendors, enjoy free yoga, live music, seminars and more. There will be local beverages and food for people to enjoy while they check out all the festival has to offer. Route 66 Summerfest July 20 from 5 - 10 p.m. on Central between Washington St. and Girard Blvd. There will be multiple stages with performances from bands throughout the night. There will be food trucks, drinks and more for all to enjoy.
