Stabbing suspect to remain at Bridgewater State Hospital

PLYMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) — The man accused of stabbing multiple people in one day has been ordered to stay at Bridgewater State Hospital for further evaluation.
Jared Ravizza is facing multiple charges, including two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and assault with intent to murder in connection with the a stabbing of two employees at a rest area McDonalds back in May.
Ravizza is also facing four counts of assault to murder and four counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in connection with the stabbing of four girls in a Braintree movie theater that same day.
Ravizza could also face additional charges to a Connecticut murder investigation, according to officials.
Ravizza was ordered a mental evaluation at Bridgewater State Hospital.
He will have a status update on his condition on July 17 via a court hearing.
