MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A child is in the hospital after police say he was accidentally shot Monday evening. At 5:03 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 800 block of Pawnee Avenue. A male victim was taken to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in non-critical condition. One male known to the victim has been detained. Per Memphis Police, the preliminary information indicates that this was an accidental shooting.
