Local Living on ABC Columbia brought to you by MUSC Health       COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, the Town of Blythewood is hosting their “Rockin’ Red, White and Blue Celebration this week. There will be food, live music and of course, fireworks. The fun begins on Wednesday, July 3, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Doko Meadows Park. Admission is free.   The Columbia Fireflies and the South Carolina Philharmonic will have their 4th annual Fireworks with the Phil event this Thursday, July 4. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. at Segra Park and the show starts at 8 p.m. There will be food, drinks and a kids zone.   You can also celebrate our nation’s birthday at Fort Jackson this Thursday, July 4. Gates open at 4 p.m. at Fort Jackson’s Hilton Field and the fireworks start around 9 p.m. You and your family can enjoy live music, carnival rides, food and beer trucks and much more. It’s free and open to the public.   The SC State Museum will be open on July 4th and through the holiday weekend. There will be two new shows premiering this week. Visitors can see “Turtle Odyssey 4D” and “Solar Superstorms” for $5 each. There will also be a $1 general admission on First Sunday. Categories: Local News Tags: Local Living
