AM shower, clearing, high 84 FORECAST DISCUSSION: Happy Tuesday! We've got another nice day ahead of us, we'll just be a bit warmer. Highs warm to the upper 80s to near 90 under mainly sunny skies. We'll feel a slight breeze at times, and luckily, humidity still remains nice and comfortable. That all changes tomorrow. The weather pattern becomes much more unsettled midweek, starting with Wednesday. Expect increasing humidity, with highs warming into the lower 90s, but feeling hotter. Wednesday does start dry and sunny, but clouds will increase throughout the day. We'll then be tracking very scattered storm chances late-afternoon and into the evening. These storm chances look to increase in coverage Wednesday night. The Storm Prediction Center does have parts of our area under a low-end 2-out-of-5 risk for strong to severe thunderstorms late Wednesday. The primary threats with this are strong winds and localized heavy rain. Wednesday is far from a washout, as the activity will be incredibly spotty for the region, including for Downtown Columbus for Red, White & BOOM! It is just a day/evening to watch. Our more widespread rain day is Thursday, for the 4th of July. Expect rain and storms, with a very muggy feel. Spotty storms linger into Friday, then we clear up in time for the weekend. -McKenna
