NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Norfolk police responded to Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (CHKD) Sunday night in reference to an infant who had been removed from the hospital. Officers were dispatched to CHKD located at 601 Childrens Lane around 10:50 p.m. after getting reports of an infant who was taken out of the hospital by a parent. Shortly afterwards, the child was returned to the hospital after being located in the City of Chesapeake. Stephanie E. Wallace, 31, was taken into custody and charged with felony child abuse after an investigation. 10 On Your Side is reaching out for more information on the incident.
