I always knew Utah was special, but I never realized how really amazingly special this place actually is. Earlier this week on my way from San Francisco to my home here in Deer Valley, I managed to lose my wallet. I was in a panic. I was checking with airports on both ends, airlines, taxi drivers and in general making myself and my wife crazy. I was in a panic. How would I get on my flight back to SF without my driver’s license? Then I get a call from Sgt. Alenson of the Park City Police. He has my wallet. It appears it was found in Salt Lake City International Airport and turned over to a bus driver on his way to Park City who turned it over to the police. They used their resources to nail down my cell phone and reached me. I was so relieved. But here’s the amazing part: The $300 in cash in my wallet was all there, along with all my credit cards. Where else would that all come back to the owner? Only here. I will say that again. Only here! I am so delighted and proud to call Utah my home away from home.
