GLOUCESTER COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) -- Virginia State police are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Gloucester that left a man dead. Troopers say a Honda Civic was traveling northbound on Route 17 near the intersection at Wood Cross Road when it ran off the road and hit a tree in the median. The driver, a 43-year-old Gloucester man, died at the scene. Troopers said he was wearing his seatbelt. An investigation is underway. Continue to check WAVY.com for updates.
