MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis Police are looking for the person responsible for burglarizing a woman's home and stealing her car. On June 28 at 3:35 a.m., officers responded to a burglary residential and motor vehicle theft at 170 Hollywood Street. Officers were told that the victim was asleep in her apartment when she heard noises coming from the adjacent room. She woke to see an unknown suspect in her apartment and then heard the door close. She reported that a large-screen TV and a gaming system had been stolen, along with the keys to her 2011 Kia Sorrento. MPD releases an image of missing Kia Sorrento. (MPD) As she looked outside, she saw that her vehicle had been stolen. According to police, the suspect in this incident may have been responsible for a home invasion on Alica Drive, in which the victim's keys to her 2011 Honda Fit were not stolen. No arrests have been made at this time, but this is still an ongoing investigation.
