(KRON) – Cal Fire Santa Clara Unit crews are battling a one-acre fire at Leavesley Road and Ferguson Road in San Martin on Saturday, the department announced on its social media. Excessive Heat Watch issued days leading up to Fourth of July: NWS This fire is being referred to as the Leavesley Fire. According to Cal Fire, the crews have stopped the forward progress of the fire.
