Saturday has been a real scorcher across the Bluegrass with heat indexes above 100 degrees in many areas.  Temperatures peaked in the low 90’s thanks to a lack of rainfall and dew points in the mid 70’s.  Storm chances continue through Saturday night and into the earlier part of Sunday, as a cold front continues to sweep from the northwest moving to the southeast. Monday will likely win the prize for best weather day this week.  We start the work week with sunny skies, highs in the upper 70’s to low 80’s and humidity levels in the comfortable range.  Tuesday will be another sunny day, although temperatures will likely climb back to the lower 90’s and humidity levels ramping up, too. Our next system moves in Wednesday afternoon and brings storm chances for our July 4th holiday and the rest of the week.  We are watching this carefully, as this could impact firework shows and outdoor holiday plans.   Categories: ABC 36 Storm Team, Featured, Local Weather Headlines, Storm Team Weather Blog, Weather, Weather Forecast Tags: 4th of July, 4th of July Forecast, 4th of July Weather, ABC 36 Forecast, ABC 36 News, ABC 36 News Now, ABC 36 Storm Team, ABC 36 Storm Team Forecast, ABC36 Weather, Angie Ragle, cold front, July 4th, sunny, weather, weekday, Weekend Forecast
