ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – Allen County officers are investigating a shooting that left one dead Saturday evening. The Allen County Sheriff's Department responded to the 100 block of Chrisren Cove in Yoder, IN just before 6 p.m. Allen County Police Department Officer, Brent Bolinger, told a WANE 15 crew member at the scene that an uninvited male entered a mobile home. The male homeowner fired several shots striking and killing the male intruder. We are told that the intruder and female homeowner were once in a relationship. No one else was hurt. The homeowners continue to cooperate with police during the investigation. Results will be sent to the Allen County Prosecutor's Office to decide whether or not charges will be filed.
