Lyon County Sheriff’s Office The suspect in the shooting of two Silver Springs, NV residents on June 26, 2024 has been positively identified as 53 year old Silver Springs resident Stephen Thomas Shytle. At this time, Shytle’s whereabouts are unknown. Shytle is believed to be driving a white, 2001 Dodge Ram extended cab truck, bearing Nevada license plate 119Y67. The truck also has a lumber rack attached to the bed. Shytle should be considered armed and dangerous and the public is urged not to attempt contact with him.
