WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- DC Fire and EMS released a video showing the moments before a large fire broke out at a Southeast D.C. apartment which displaced nearly 80 residents. According to DC Fire and EMS, 76 people were displaced when a fire broke out on June 25 around 2 p.m. at the Oxford Manor Apartments. Pepco gears up for summer storm season, heat Fire investigators determined that the two-alarm fire was caused by illegal fireworks. In the video DC Fire and EMS released, people could be seen walking around and shooting off fireworks near the apartment complex. Anyone with information relating to the fire was asked to call (202) 673-ARSON or submit on its hot line form.
