There is a large police presence at the intersection of Pewaukee Road and Capitol Drive in Pewaukee. Witnesses say construction workers were hit by a truck. That's near the Pewaukee Froedtert Community Hospital. The intersection is also currently under construction. TMJ4 has crews at the scene who are working to learn more. Rebecca Klopf sent us a picture of this green truck that appears to have crashed into the side of the road. She says investigators are looking it over now. Rebecca spoke to a driver who was involved in the crash who says she saw the green truck "airborne" and then it hit her from behind. That driver says she saw the truck hit two construction workers. Rebecca spoke to the driver's husband, who happens to also be a road construction worker. He's been working on a project in Germantown. You can watch his interview with Rebecca above.
