WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - This Mother's Day weekend is expected to be a busy one for local restaurants with limited reservations available. 'Latitude' restaurant in West Springfield is anticipating a high volume of customers looking to treat moms to a special meal. Nearly 500 people are expected to come through the doors on Sunday, with more than 100 on the waitlist. The restaurant is offering a full buffet, with dishes like chicken parmesan, Strata, and a dessert bar. The owner, Jeffrey Daigneau tells us he is excited to serve a large crowd and make this Mother's Day special for all the moms who visit. "It's a lot of fun. I mean you walk out of the restaurant and it's so many people and so much energy, people at the door, people coming in," expressed Daigneau. "People just being because lets face it when your together your happy as a family." This weekend also coincides with other events like graduations making it one of the busiest months for restaurants in the area.
