PENNINGTON — The Mercer County Park Commission will host its annual Come Out and Play Camp Out event from Saturday, June 1 to Sunday, June 2 at Rosedale Park. A rain date is scheduled for June 8-9.
During the overnight event, families and individuals can camp in the park. Activities are planned for both first-time campers and experienced outdoor enthusiasts.
The event will feature naturalist-led fishing, stargazing, and night hikes. Participants can sing camp songs, roast hot dogs and make s’mores by the campfire. The camp out will conclude the next morning with a continental breakfast and an early bird-walk or family craft before departure.
Costs are $15 per person for Mercer County residents and $25 per person for non-residents.
