CHARLOTTE- David Britt and his daughter got the chance to spend some one on one time together at this weekends Lovin’ Life Music Festival before she heads off to college. “Being able to have that daddy daughter time, especially before she goes off to college, it was just it was something I’ll never forget,” said Britt. Lovin’ Life organizers say they welcomed more than 75,000 enthusiastic attendees through their gates, not quite hitting their projected 90,000. Performers included Post Malone, Stevie Nicks, Noah Kahan and dozens more. Britt says he loved eating all the food, but the performers really sealed the deal for him. “Getting to see, you know, like a Charlottean DaBaby was unbelievable. His his excitement was just extraordinary.” Some fans did have concerns, though. “We paid a bunch of money for these, like, super VIP passes, and they air conditioning doesn’t work in the building that we were supposed to have air conditioning in,” said attendee Nash Osborne. Other fans sharing their concerns on social media in the comment section of Lovin’ Life’s feedback post, requesting more grass to cover muddy areas and more water stations. Overall, most comments were positive, congratulating them on such a successful first festival. The Lovin’ Life team shared a statement with WCCB’s Emma Mondo, saying in part, “As we reflect on this remarkable first year journey, we eagerly embrace the invaluable feedback from our fans and we are already implementing changes to elevate next years experience. ” Organizers projected a first year economic impact of 30 million dollars. WCCB reached out to the city to see if they hit that number and did not hear back,  but fans say they could see that impact for themselves. “When you see something like this come to our city, obviously the hotels, the restaurants, everything,  things just benefit so much,” said Britt. “And so when you see something of this magnitude come to your city and it’s a success, people are going to want it to come back again.”
