Some of the heaviest precip so far this year is close to Interstate 29, and this is the area that has the potential to get another heavy dose. Here's a list of where we're at so far this year.
This list also includes the heaviest through this date. Brookings tops the list with its 6th wettest so far with almost 7 inches, 10 inches is their heaviest through this date.
Rapid City is also in their top ten with an amount under 8. Watertown and Yankton are in their top 20 and Sioux Falls sits at 24 on the list of wettest through this date.
Aberdeen has missed out and is 72nd on their list with a little under 4.5 inches. It's far down the list compared to others, but it's within two-tenths of their climate average.
We will add at least an inch or more of rainfall by tomorrow morning. Allowing areas of eastern South Dakota to continue to climb the ranks of wettest starts to the year.
