For this evening, only some scattered clouds are around and temps are falling through the 60s and end up as low as the low 50s during the early morning. Tuesday morning lows are in the 50s. Some spots in northwest Ohio may dip to the upper 40s. No rain is out there tonight, but there is a storm threat tomorrow for a couple rounds of thunderstorms. A risk of severe weather exists across the entire area Tuesday. Some storms could produce large hail and gusty winds, with our best chance of seeing severe storms occurring between 3 and 9 pm. Conditions will be right for isolated tornadoes, so we'll be monitoring that risk closely in the Live Doppler 15 Fury Weather Center. Tracking severe weather on Tuesday While not initially severe when the storms begin, look for the rain chances to start as early as around 10 in the morning with periods of rain and storms continuing, at times, through the evening. We'll be monitoring the strength of the storms as soon as they arrive, but our main concern for severe storms comes with those that are in the area between 3 and 9 pm. If hail occurs with Tuesday's storms, there's a high potential the hailstones will be large - quarter-sized or bigger. The southern half of our area is still under a slight risk for severe weather Wednesday. However, at this time, our main concern, and higher confidence, is with Tuesday's storms. Wednesday's storm potential may not pan out until late night and overnight into early Thursday. Tuesday's highs will be in the mid-70s and Wednesday's highs will be near 80°. Tuesday's highs return to the 70s and may hit 80° in some areas. Showers and some additional t-storms are possible Thursday with cooler conditions and highs in the mid-60s. Friday has the lowest high temp of the week at only 61° Tonight: Becoming mostly cloudy by morning.
