Popeyes catches fire in Hammond

HAMMOND, La. (WGNO) -- A Popeyes location in Hammond caught on fire over the weekend.
The Hammond Fire Department reported firefighters responded to the fire around 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, May 5 at the location on South Morrison Boulevard.

Crews found flames coming from the roof, but the fire was "quickly extinguished."
According to the fire department, no one was injured. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
