INDIANAPOLIS – Police detained a person of interest after a person was found shot in the driveway of a near southeast side home. According to Indianapolis Metropolitan police, officers responded to a reported shooting around 4 a.m. Monday to the 3500 block of Orange Street. Police found a person who’d been shot in the driveway. IMPD didn’t disclose the extent of the person’s injuries, saying only that the individual was in stable condition. Police characterized the shooting as an isolated incident and detained a person of interest who was cooperating with investigators. The case remains under investigation.
