Connor Harrison entered the game in relief of Bodendorf and temporarily gave up a grand slam to Jarren Sanderson on the next at-bat that would have tied the game, only for the umpires to determine the ball was hit in foul territory after minutes of deliberation. Harrison got Sanderson to strike out, ending the threat and keeping the score at 5-1. Bodendorf got the win after allowing four hits, two walks and one run in 5.2 innings pitched with six strikeouts, taking a no-hitter into the fifth inning. Harrison tossed 1.1 scoreless frames, making his 69th career relief appearance, breaking a program record. He was previously tied with Lawrence Chew, Ian Jones, Jeff Ball and Lenny Linsky at 68. At the plate, Hawaii racked up 15 hits as a team. Jake Tsukada, Austin Machado, Kyson Donahue, DallasJ Duarte and Elijah Ickes all had multiple hits, while Machado hit his fourth home run of the year. Hawaii will remain home for a three-game series against UC Riverside, which begins on Thursday at 6:35 p.m.
