RUSSELL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky State Police are investigating multiple shootings that have left two people dead and one with life-threatening injuries in Russell County. According to KSP, 56-year-old Angela Gosser went to the home of her brother, 58-year-old Darryl Wilson, Friday evening. Once there, Ms. Gosser took a firearm and forced her way into the home. Both Ms. Gosser and Wilson exchanged gunfire and received gunshot wounds. Mr. Wilson was transported to the hospital for life-threatening injuries. Ms. Gosser was pronounced dead on the scene by the Russell County Coroner. While at the scene, police received a request for a welfare check on Ms. Gosser’s sister, Jennifer Wilson, age 57. Troopers and deputies located a Toyota Camry partially off the roadway in which Ms. Wilson was found in the driver’s seat with apparent fatal gunshot wounds to the head. According to police, before the incident at her brother’s residence, Ms. Gosser encountered Ms. Wilson on Hammond Road and fired multiple rounds into the passenger area of the vehicle, fatally striking Ms. Wilson. Ms. Wilson was pronounced deceased by the Russell County Coroner. The investigation is still ongoing.
