(KRON) – It’s a rainy day in the Bay.  The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for San Jose, Oakland and San Francisco until 10:30 a.m. Hail is not expected. However, the wind is likely to be up to 40 mph. The NWS issued another special weather statement for San Jose CA, Sunnyvale CA and Santa Clara CA until 11:30 a.m. Southbound State Highway 82, El Camino Real, in Palo Alto, is closed at University Avenue because of flooding under the overpass. Palo Alto police asked drivers to avoid the area in an advisory at 12:09 p.m. San Francisco Bay Area Forecast National Weather Service A flood advisory has been issued for San Francisco and Concord caused by excessive rainfall. According to KRON4’s meteorologist Dave Spahr, around 1:15 p.m., the North Bay will be done with heavy rain, but will still see spotty showers. Spahr said around 3:35 p.m., the heavy rain would be out of the Bay, however, the rain would not completely stop.  Spahr said chilly temperatures and forecasted wind are expected tomorrow, however the sun will be out.
