NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- A motorcyclist is in critical condition after a serious crash occurred on State Road 37 in Noblesville Saturday afternoon. Officers with the Noblesville Police Department were dispatched around 4:15 p.m. to the intersection of State Road 37 and Pleasant Street after receiving reports that a three-vehicle crash had occurred in the area. NPD said preliminary information indicates the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on SR 37 before colliding with a vehicle that was traveling westbound on Pleasant Street. The motorcyclist was transported to Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis for treatment of critical injuries sustained during the crash, NPD said. NPD did not provide conditions for the other drivers or passengers who were involved in the crash. The southbound lanes of SR 37 and east and west of Pleasant Street from Mercantile Boulevard to Clover Road will remain closed as NPD's Crash Reconstruction Unit continues its investigation. The crash remains under investigation.
